Happy New Year Everyone!
This is coming out a little later than usual, since I started 2017 off sick in bed. But after a few days rest, I am back in action and ready to start on my New Years Resolutions. Which I love, by the way!
How do you feel about New Years Resolutions? Love them? Hate them? Did you make any this year?
Mine is to get up early every morning and get on top of my day rather than trying to play catch up all day, every day. This is going to be a challenge for me, as I looooove to sleep. But as I write this, it is 6:30am and I have already gotten my workout in and I am ready for my day. I’ll keep you updated as to how I manage to keep up with this.
Now for a few of my favorite things from around the web lately…
- Getting a good night’s sleep is going to be the key to me keeping my New Year’s Resolution, so I read this book last week to help.
- By the same author as the book above, 21 Tips To Get The Best Sleep Ever.
- And more on sleep: The Two-Week Sleep Experiment
- I love the Vienna Philharmoic New Year’s Day Concert, but had no idea about its dark history.
- We all do it sometimes, but it isn’t healthy or productive. Here are 13 Things to do Instead of Comparing Yourself to Others.
- Fun to see what they would look like if If the state flags were icons.
- I love these travel themed notebooks.
- Are Today’s Parents Getting a Raw Deal?
- I am reading this book to my girls right now. We love the story, and the book itself is beautiful.
- I am such a sucker for the end of the year book lists. I love seeing how many of them I have read, and adding the remaining books to my list. Some of my favorites:
- And it was so interesting to learn How the NY Times Book Review Works
Have you read many of the books from the “Best of 2016” lists? What would you add to the lists?
